Hi Everyone, At QNX Software Systems (http://www.qnx.com) we're looking to grow our middleware team with smart and talented individuals. Currently we have several positions available including: - multimedia software developers - 3D graphics developers - Audio developers (not yet on the careers page) - Flash and HMI graphic artists. Although QNX is not Linux it has a lot of similarity. QNX is a 27 year old company headquartered in Kanata with 250 employees world wide and we are profitable even in today's market. At the heart of our offering is a microkernel providing fast real-time and secure performance along with a POSIX interface. Because we're POSIX software is usually very portable between Linux and QNX. We've launched our foundry27 site (http://community.qnx.com) where we develop openly with the community including sharing our source code. In the middleware team we are mainly focused on automotive opportunities such as infotainment and digital instrument clusters. As the automotive market leader, QNX software technology has been licensed for more than 10.1 million vehicles worldwide, in vehicles from Audi, BMW, Chrysler, Daimler, Fiat, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Saab, Ssangyong, Toyota, Volkswagen, and others. QNX software already powers applications in more vehicle models (200) and is used by more automakers and suppliers than all other OS platforms combined. You can find the openings here: http://www.qnx.com/company/careers/ Please send your resume to me if you're interested in one of these positions.
