but it is. IIRC anything over 50v DC is considered dangerous. The
dangerous threshold for AC is much higher due to the different ways DC
and AC affect muscles. Dangerous is subjective. 12v can kill a person if
their skin is wet.

What UPS do you have? I had an APC ups with deep cycle battery. I can't
remember if the battery was isolated or not.
