Although I like supporting the independents I have been very happy with http://tigerdirect.ca.

Check out their bare bones deals. Then install your linux flavor of choice.

My current system from them was at least half the cost. They sent all the parts, I assembled and installed. Love it.

I have decided it's time for a new PC. I'm looking for a low-end 
workstation.  I would prefer one without Windows.  I was wondering what 
recommendations this list may have for computer stores in Ottawa or 
eastern Ontario.
