I agree with the tiger direct suggestion. The other places I buy stuff are

and The Trailing Edge. (Couldn't find any "no os" offers on their site at the 
moment)

The thing is, buying a barebones/no os system would have to be a matter of 
principle for you, because in reality you don't seem to pay extra for Windows. 
Heh - in the real marketplace, products find their own value, right?
