I'm proud to confirm this. I also bought a OS-free small system. This
one is a Dual-Atom N450. It came with no RAM, and no hard disk. It was
taking usual DDR-2 laptop-like memory modules, and I had some spare. It
was also taking SATA internal hard disks. I installed the RAM and the
hard disk, booted from a USB stick to install Ubuntu, and voila ! It
works great. 


I do not buy much from Tiger Direct, as my money is rather low now, but
this was my best deal. It was or sale at $149.99, with a $40 mail-in
rebate. I received it quicker than it was actually planned on the
confirmation email. 


If you know what is needed in such PC's, and have access to the parts
(or can get them), this is a great deal for Linux-based PC, while we do
not want to pay the Micro$oft tax.

 My current system from them was at least half the cost. They sent all
