I once read that thw bundled WIndows XP (back then) was adding $5 to the
actual price. But my other issue is also that sometime, the selected
hardware in the PC you buy has been selected for Windows compatibility,
and sometime, for Windows-Only hardware, which may or may not work under
Linux.
