One system I bought, actually had windows installed when I came to pick
it up, the salesperson ran fdisk after he showed me the system was working.

System I amusing now came from an e-bay vendor in toronto. Sold me a
bare bones system and a separate drive, then installed the drive so that
it could all come in one box. The DVD ROM I had as a spare.
