I am also considering switching to another distro. Maybe Kubuntu, but I don't really like the new interface, and I have problems with my dual monitor display card. It was working just fine under 10.10 with the proprietary driver installed, but doing the same thing under 11.04 seems to only give me one working monitor. I'm not stuck with Ubuntu, I want to use Linux. But I'm open to other distros. I just don't have time to try them all. I am Linux, And Windows 7 was NOT my idea !....... Is it the new Gnome UI? I'm not trying to defend the distro, but I use Kubuntu, and haven't tried the new UI yet. GIMP is broke. WxWindows is broke. But the biggest problem is that when it hibernates, it does always power down. -- Just my 0.00000002 million dollars worth, Shawn Confusion is the first step of understanding.
