Oettinger is known for one thing: being a cheap lager, thin on taste, and sold immediately after brewing and bottling. I Have Been Told that storing beer for some weeks makes it better -- but it costs more. So by the time you get it, it would be better than in Germany. "Quaffed ice-cold on a hot day" is exactly what it's for! Thomas Prufer
