I don't remember. I might have been using my XP box. I get a lot of
sites that don't like XP. But this really doesn't matter. Peazip is
enuf for me. I need only a basic zip/unzip app.

I don't know what about it was uncomfortable at the time you tried it.
But it is now a super simple interface that even a 5-year-old could
use. Matter of fact, more than once my wife of 50+ years has accused
me of being that exact age at times.  But that's another story for
another time.
