Such antennas exist and they work, but there is still physics which
means if there is too much unwanted signal that can reach your
receiver, you can't communicate properly. The directional antenna can't
by design filter out interference from the direction it points to.

I highly recommend installing shielded Cat wire, this will ensure a
stable and fast networking operation.
