If you want to know more details, you should better ask your questions there: news://news.eternal-september.org/eternal-september.support It's E-S local newsgroup which should be available only on E-S newsserver. Note that for NNTP "local" means group in a local hierarchy (like the linked e-s one) or local newsgroup distribution (set by "Distribution" field in a message header).
