I have a meat thermometer that came with the new oven. It must connect to
it to have a reading but tried with water in the kettle and unsurprisingly
it works. 

Anyway with some ballpark guesstimates found 6 hours is the amount of time
balancing energy use at two levels of T plus re-heating. Curious enough
re-heating delay option is also set at six hours.
