	He would have a place here in rec.arts.sf.written
because long before he was a movie creation he was a literary
  character.  I never got into those books beyond the first
volume or so because they are written for Children who
are feeling downtrodden by the adults.

	David Dalton is a believer in "real magic" and
continues over many years to promulgate his views on
that matter.

	You are talking about "real magic" not literary
matters and such magic is probably off topic here.
