Why didn't they build an exact copy of the original
twin towers BUT using modern material and technology?
You don't build skyscrapers for triumph or glory,
but usage and utmost safety! :)
I suspect the original WTC twin towers were very
old and possibly had some undocumented problems.
It was built for glory and triumph, right? And
maybe in a hurry and hence a lot of compromises.
