Hi again, Here are some details about the current web site, and it's content. Two main categories : PHP Papers, Announcements. PHP papers : This category gathers most of the texts and article, related to PHP, it's current and future use. It holds 4 sub categories, and only one filled : Interview (Derick Rethans, Andrei Zmeivski). One with Stig Bakken will come soon. PHP Benchmarks : anything to time PHP against its competitors. Use Case : People who used PHP for some common task... sucessfully. Testimonials : People who used PHP for some common task... sucessfully. PHP announcement holds 3 sub categories : PHP figures : any statistics about PHP (number of users, jobs, countries, whatever). PHP announcement : All major release of PHP, and related project such as PEAR, SRM, GTK. Press release : All major third party release, submitted or found on the web. This is a place where any PHP actor can get visibility on its own products. An extra section of the site will cover how to to help anyone trying to send us some material : how to write a press release (yeah, some of us do great application and poor communication), how to write a business case, a user case. Ready to fill questions for an interview. How to use this site. Right now, this structure is the first we have, and will do the job until it gets really crowded. I'm interested in your comments about it, but I'm really attracted by anything that will populate it, and bring more sens. I'm sure everyone has already an idea of what it can write for PHP. Please, explain your goals on the mailing list. I would like to stress that tools (mailing list, web site, design...) are of secondary importance right now. The major goal right now is to gather content, figures, sayings, interview and have a decent web site. When this is done, GUI and tools will all be there. Best regards, Damien Seguy.
