Hey guys,

I just wanted to say that I think this is a great and extremely important 
initiative.
As .NET and Java are becoming more and more hyped with web services 
solutions we definitely need to do this kind of stuff.
I think it's important to make some of the major topics such as how PHP 
supports web services, internationalization, portability, ease of use, etc. 
major sections on the site.
There are some areas you might find are hard to defend PHP. For example, I 
think the XML technologies support is relatively weaker today. So it's 
important to:
a) List the available solutions and possibly rank them so people know what 
to test when they are testing the PHP technology.
b) Try and convince PHP developers to work on improving what needs to be 
improved.
