Take into account that they are also supposed to be *studying*. Terms
vary from one country to
another, but it's perfectly possible that they still haven't finished
exams for the mid-term evaluation.
Perhaps they shouldn't be applying for GSOC at all in such case but
those 2 hours might as well
be all the time they have available.
