Hi Dominikus,

I am sorry to hear of your duplicated efforts. Unfortunately at the 
moment, we don't have a system for tracking who is working on what in 
the documentation process. This is mainly because the documentation team 
is rather small. The amount of work needed to set up and maintain a 
system just can't be justified with a team of about ten people.

I hope that you will continue to help translating. For now the best way 
to prevent duplication of work is probably just to announce what you are 
working on here in the doc mailing list.

Again, sorry for the frustration, but thanks for the effort.
