Stas doesn't. Who did I miss? The thing is, we've been here before - the whole point of starting over was to get away from relying on a single person and a single box. If you get hit by a bus tomorrow, how do we reproduce your work? > So please keep your angriness and > perpetual attacks about me not being open or doing everything behind > the scene for yourself, thank you. I wasn't being angry. Nor was I attacking. >> VC6 Enterprise, hm? Is that in any way different from the MSVC6++ that >> Zend >> had, and Edin had, and Liz had? > > We always use it. Always. Right, so "always" is quite recent in fact. Like, within the last year or so. >> It's not good enough to intervene every time I try to talk with someone >> other than yourself about the Windows build. I wrote to a total stranger and CC'd the list. The VC6 build is in fact broken. I've no clue what you have on the snaps box, but it doesn't have much in common with VC6 as we know it. It's not acceptable that PHP can only be built on a single box with a peculiar setup and restricted access. I only, and my > apologize to have replied to a mail, said that it works on the snap > box using the normal configurations. As I wrote in my original post SEVERAL HOURS AGO, the only place PHP appears to build under VC6 is on the snaps box. Everybody else I've spoken to has to --disable-odbc to get it to build. Responding to that with "oh but it builds on the snaps box" does nothing but make you look silly. > You are the only one to fight here. Pierre, just do me a massive favour and please don't respond to any messages I post to other people again. It is not the first time I've asked this, but I'd really like it to be the last. - Steph
