Building PHP5.5 on WinXP using latest possible VC Express.

Hi.

I've been happy to build PHP using VC9 on WinXPSP3 for a while.

Been away for a while and coming back to the game (slowly).

I'm only building for my own use/learning, not production.

With that, am I still going to have issues?

Basically, is it time for an upgrade of my XP VM to Windows 7 considering
it really is only used for some accounts related work (apps only on
Windows) and PHP/CHM building/playing/learning?
