    Between the public and private replies I've received
overwhelmingly in favor of this, I've gone ahead and created a channel
for official mirror maintainers on EFnet: #php.mirrors

    Please feel free to join the channel.  There's no requirement to
do so, it's only an attempt to improve the flow of communication,
including for those who continue to have issues receiving emails from
the mailing list.

    Right now, the channel is open.  At some point in the near future,
quite likely this week, we'll lock it so that it remains semi-private,
and I'll provide all parties with the channel key.
