Net_Gearman status?

Any of you guys know the status of Net_Gearman?

The github repo linked from PEAR is idle since middle of last year,
but there's a more active fork:
http://github.com/brianlmoon/net_gearman/

I'd like to contribute some patches etc., but I'm not sure where.

Anyway, it would be nice all the new additions into PEAR.
