about pear/Cache

Hello,
I like to become the maintainer of the package pear/Cache.
My intention is to fix some strict standards things and add functionalities,
for example : more containers like PDO  and a restfull API for retrieve
where it is possible(html content, images, json data and others).

Because I never worked on ( just worked with) a Pear package, I believe is a
good ideia ( and the manual ask me to do this) introduce myself.

I work with php the last 9+ years.
have open source projects like pl2method, phpzzfunctions and pgview.
I'm a podcaster too, with the Pt-BR php5minutes podcast.
Almost all my jobs are in backend and
I have a blog called Ianntech in http://ianntech.com.br
