Laws about open source in a proprietary solution

Hello,

I'm contacting you about legislation.
I 'd like to use your PEAR framework to develop a proprietary production
gesture solution. This web solution will be sold to many customers.

Is that legal ? Of course open source softwares and technologies will be
promoted.

Actually I'd like to be sure to not doing anything illegal.
If it's possible, Thanks to give me explaination about laws concerned by
this scenario.
