phplib::metadata equivalent in PEAR::DB ?

Hi

we are using right now phplib for our db abstraction. but we like to
switch to the PEAR stuff (and since the rest of phplib is also coming to
PEAR, why shouldn't we..)

But we use the metadata function available in phplib to get the
information about which tables were used in the query and this is quite
handy for our needs. Is there an equivalent for that in PEAR already? or
are their any plans for including that?
