sounds cool, but I see two problems here
a) where do we put it? (Math?) (I'll start a thread on this)
b) it is no common code, where do we put exotic code?
I think PEAR should not end up like CPAN where it is impossible to
differentiate between common and exotic code (the fact that we only
 want high-quality code in PEAR already has been discussed ;) )
