Then why bother using the DB:: layer? Why bother using phplib's db abstraction? 
Just put the REPLACE INTO code into a Cache_Container_mysql class, and let 
mysql users go ahead and use it, and don't bother with a db layer since it's 
only ever going to work on mysql anyway.
