RE: [PHP-PEAR] PHPLib and Pear merge

Well, what MIGHT happen is at the end, a wrapper around the pear api which
looks like phplib... QED, then the auth stuff for example in phplib mode
would use the phplib mode db stuff... which REALLY gets translated into
pear's api... what would REALLY be nice is if we could implement it ala a
C/C++ macro... but I'm not sure if we can do that with PHP... the big thing
that concerns me with ALL of this will be speed...
