See the latests additions to the manual. It is a basic documentation on PEAR but something is being done. --- Mattias Segerdahl <[email protected]> wrote: > Why isn't the pear developers doing any usefull > documentation, I mean, > something like a reference documentation for all the > functions. Also, as this is Open Source, you can roll up your sleeves and help by: a) getting the phpdoc CVS tree from cvs.php.net, writing some documentation using the DocBook XML, and finally posting it here or at the PHPDOC list, so people w/ CVS commit access can update the docs or b) getting a CVS account, getting jade (or similar) to test/process the documentation you write, checking out the CVS phpdoc tree, writing the docs, testing them and commiting them yourself DocBook is not difficult and just needs a simple text editor. Even if you do not want to touch XML w/ a ten-foot pole, you can still write plain text docs on the parts of PEAR you are more familiar with, and then send them here were others can add/modify/comment on the doc. Happy documenting ===== --- Jesus M. Castagnetto ([email protected]) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
