Help sending mail in WinNT

 I'm working with PHP 4 on WinNT 4.0, when I try to send mail using mail() I
recive this error

Warning: Failed to Connect in d:/www/sugestoes.php on line 3

 I'm running PHP as a cgi in Lotus Domino Go Webserver.
