Yes, InterBase docs are still work in progress, hope I'll someday finish
it...

Array support is on my todo-list, but no promises about when it'll be
ready. Domains belong to SQL, not PHP, and role is the 7th parameter to
ibase_connect(), that's even documented, although its meaning is not
explained.
