Is there a discussion-only list for PHP web stuff? Or could we turn this into one?

I'm a newcomer, and I find it remarkably distracting to have all the SVN commits, 
user registrations, etc., etc. coming in here jumbled up with the worthwhile 
discussion.

Surely we could create a separate mailing list for all that guff, and let people 
unsubscribe from it who don't want to see it?
