XML Security?

Dear developers,

Is anybody thinking about integrating XMLSec
(http://www.aleksey.com/xmlsec/) into PHP? Its features would be quite
interesting indeed..
I don't know how difficult a task this would be, I definitely don't have
the know-how to cope with it. :(
Perhaps the fact that libXML is already integrated makes it a bit easier?
Any plans, anybody?
