However, doing this forces us to either (a) bundle libxml2 and libxsl or (b) require libxml2 and libxsl to be installed on a machine in order to use PHP. Bundling libxml2 and libxsl more than doubles the size of the distribution, but since not all servers have libxsl... Well, you get the point.
