I would like to switch over to github as the community features can
really be a win for us. I also think that the name mapping and acl
issues can be solved by the github people. Nevertheless going for github
would certainly require more time than just switching over to svn as it
more than just a plain repository/vcs change. So if we seriously take
into account to switch to github, I would prefer this over switching to svn.

As the discussion of dvcs systems and their platforms sometimes lead to
a very religious fight, I think it would be better to just talk about
git/github and svn instead of also putting hg/bzr into that discussion.
