Just to get some clarity on the above two remarks from David and Rasmus, it seems like we're mostly interested in GitHub for GitHub, not for GIT itself.  ie: if we didn't go with GitHub we'd probably stick with SVN?  I don't think this is necessarily wrong, just curious if everyone is in agreement on that point?

If we go with GitHub and decide later that it's not what we want, then will we be happy with using GIT still?
