Re: [SVN-MIGRATION] Github status

I see the cup differently with some of the votes and hope we skip the  
svn step and move straight to only git. Let's have and manage one vcs  
instead of worrying about syncing or where to commit. So unless ~git- 
svn is a design decision and not a compromise then let's please dive  
head first with full force into one place which [in this case] is git.

If we say "let's do git" then I'm sure the git geeks here will commit  
time to finding and presenting solutions but at this point it would  
feel like a potential wasted effort. And the github folks are actively  
helpful in email and irc, as is the community surrounding it (they  
kindly answer basic git questions too) so fear not, the water is warm.  
If we absolutely fail to find a nice git based solution then svn it is  
but at least we tried.
