Hey guys; I've been talking with Scott Chacon at GitHub about the ACL system needed before PHP could consider jumping onboard. He's hacked up a proof of concept that he's going to start working with. The code is online at: http://github.com/schacon/githooks/blob/88b25d960050a90c3143d13d72faea72fab6b907/update There's a couple of other things that that code does, but he's going to see if he can get the ACL portion of the code on GitHub within the next week. The ACL format is based off of the php-src karma system, so our existing system would put directly over to GitHub's new directory ACL system. As I've understood the discussion thus far, the biggest draw-back to GitHub has been it's lack of an ACL system. Is that a fair assessment? If that is the case and GitHub does get the ACL system online, are there any other issues that need to be addressed? -T
