Being the admin of the PHPUG-Slack-Channel I'm not only open to that
idea but I'd actually welcome it!

But I can absolutely understand Cals refusal due to the closed protocol.

There's also IRC which allows also closed channels, but as far as I see
it, that's not going to work because of "not sexy" :(

So if it shall be a Slack-based list, feel free to open one on the
phpug-slack channel! You can get Invitations from
http://murmuring-forest-7062.herokuapp.com. That also applies for
usergroups that want a chat-channel. Feel free to open up one under the
phpug-slack for your usergroup!

Personally I'm against another google-group as it would mean a defacto
move of the group. If it's a "secret" story, it's on a private chatroom,
if it's open, it's on the ML. And in a second step we'll see whether
there'S room for improvement of that listserver....
