Eric & Cal,

Thanks for the welcome. I had already joined the listserv, but it hadn't
occurred to me to send an introduction email. Since I see you guys have
copied this list on this email chain, I'll do that now:

Hi, I'm Brian Johnson. I live in Colorado Springs, CO. And, I recently
decided to start a PHP user group here, despite having no idea what I'm
doing. The user group does indeed have a meetup page:
https://www.meetup.com/PeakPHP

I scheduled the first meetup for Dec 13, and set some recurring meetings
for the second Weds of each month.

Eric - thanks for the tip regarding Thomas Rideout. I'm definitely excited
to learn there's someone w/ some experience in the neighborhood.
