Hi Brian,

The best piece of advice I can give you is to figure out the format that wor=
ks best for your group. I spend my time in two cities. In Huntsville, AL, we=
 tried evening meetups and had a poor turn out. Today, my company hosted a l=
unch for over 30 people to hear one of our engineers talk about how we use D=
ocker.=20

In Birmingham, lunch meetups don't work as well because of the bigger city s=
prawl. Our best meetups are in the evenings when people can converge in one p=
lace. They are often very casual and while only 5 or 10 people may show up, i=
t's often a different mix every time.

Figure out what works for your group and things will take off.
