In Dallas we created a separate list-serv for job posts. We got quite a few job posts that were technically within the guidelines of local, php, etc. and had members complain. So now it's opt-in on our members part. We also suggest that they *attend* the meetings and meet our members face-to-face and talk jobs but that doesn't happen very often. I know some user groups exchange sponsorships for the ability to pass out a sheet with job postings. My Uncle is heavily involved with the Dallas .NET User Group and his company sponsors some of the meetings. When they do sponsor they print up a single 8.5x11 sheet of paper with job descriptions and leave 'em on all the seats. -- Daniel Cousineau Sent with Sparrow (http://bit.ly/sigsprw) On Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 10:24 AM, Jason Austin wrote: > Hey everyone, > > We're trying to put together some guidelines for companies, recruiters, > individuals, etc. posting jobs to our TrianglePHP members.
