Re: [UG-ADMINS] Nomad PHP

SoFloPHP just hit 400 members prior to our 3 year anniversary in June.  
We are just now hitting an average of 30 attendees for our regular 
meetups, thanks in part to the SunshinePHP conference this past 
February.  While I like the idea, I would hope that Nomad PHP does not 
hurt what I have worked so hard for over the past 3 years. (And of 
course I trust Cal enough to know he would never do that 
intentionally.)  So I will approach this a bit differently.

I see a possible twist that could help local groups, *depending on the 
time of day*.  A local UG could also create an additional meetup each 
month and invite their members to participate, as a group, with Nomad 
PHP. (Similar to a group viewing/listening with DayCamp4Developers.)  We 
would need to work out a financial model though.

I am a firm believer that there is a certain group who prefers to be 
"social" if the option is given. (like me) And rather than sitting home 
alone listening, would welcome a "group" viewing.
