Minnesota PHP User Group is similar to all of the other user groups it
sounds. We have a dedicated job board on meetup.com. Its not all to
regulated, however it doesn't receive a ton of posts and most of them are
already about PHP. We as encourage recruiters to come to our meet ups,
post meet ups, and pre meet ups (yes we like to hit up the bar before and
after). Typically if a recruiter does attend a meet up they are encouraged
to participate. We actually have had one recruiter that has become a
regular and is very much enjoying learning about the language he is doing a
lot of recruiting for. He feels as though it makes it so when he talks to
both clients and candidates he understands better what both are talking
about and looking for.
