Hi Stefan,

I've been running php meetups since last December in Lisbon, Portugal with Samuel Gordalina. I think we can do the same here, doing a TestFest one or two times in a year instead of a normal meetup could work very well and I'm pretty sure that it will give a different boost to the community here.

Saying that I just need to know some info about how do you usually run the TestFest event? Like schedule, sponsors, etc?

In the past years, we've organized several testfests for PHP itself. In  
the past years we've seen this become harder because the low hanging  
fruit is gone and the remaining parts of PHP that are not tested yet are

the phpDocumentor and ProTalk projects. We feel it's important to  
improve the PHP ecosystem in this way. The purpose of this day is just  
like it was with PHP: To hopefully get more new people involved in open  
source projects, as well as teach people something new (in this case:  
how to write proper tests).  

I just wanted to inform you of this effort. Perhaps it's an idea for  
your next event as well?
