I personally don't have the time to integrate UG layer into joind.in.
I know it has been in the works for 1-2 years by now, but I went with
php.ug in the end and have no plans on using joind.in for listing
usergroups or usergroup events.


As James mentions though, joind.in is great for conferences and cfp,
and I plan on replacing our php.net/conferences page fully with data
from joind.in. At the moment I am focusing on the usergroups though.
One step at a time.

This leaves the "training/courses" aspect of cal.php to die, which I
am perfectly happy with.

I may want to then resurrect cal.php with a calendar view of ug.php
and /conferences/, but that would rather be a long-term goal as time
is sparse and stuff takes time.
