Sydney Php Group update

Hi all

We had a great May meeting looking at "commercialisation of innovations" with 
approx. 25 in attendance at Mobile Messenger Sydney. Notes are up on the blog 
at sydphp.org if anyone is interested.

The Planet format is starting to kick off although I'm having some trouble 
getting people to understand the concepts of aggregation/RSS etc (?!?) - not 
sure about technically more about wider exposure for aggregated blogs etc. Any 
thoughts or tips on how that can be sold ?

Finally, if anyone has any tips on monetizing job ads/traffic from recruiters 
wishing to posts jobs to the group membership could they reply with some info 
? Our group members are wanting a jobs feed and we (the admins) would like it 
to provide some income for organisation of group functions.

Finally finally, I've started up a "PHP User Groups" group on flickr. It's open 
to all the groups around the world and thought it would be a good place to 
aggregate photos and the like from the various user groups - putting names to 
faces etc.

Feel free to add photos to the pool from your local group meeting, tagging 
them via group name, location etc.
