Dive in.

Declare a date/time, maybe after posting several options to the
mailing list, and have a meeting.

For the first meeting, you don't even need a topic/speaker, as you can
spend much of the meeting in meta-discussion of how to run the group
and what the next few meeting topics will be. :-)
