since folks periodically ask how to contribute to linux,

let me humbly propose that you clone this,
https://github.com/jimc/linux/tree/dd-classmap-fix-v4g

build it, run it inside virtme-ng (a favorite tool),
test it using the tools/testing/selftests script.
